Job summary

OMB Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in Missouri. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service through opening a variety of deposit accounts and handling routine transactions. You will resolve customer issues and proactively cross-sell bank products to meet client needs.

As part of the teller team, you may support cash handling duties and assist clients with financial solutions. A strong background in retail banking and stellar communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of retail banking experience including new accounts and teller transactions.
• Three to five years personal banking experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong mathematical, problem solving and computer skills are required.
• Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Open all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, etc.).
• Resolve customer service issues and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Process routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check issuance).
• Work on the teller line as needed.

Personal Banker

Job Summary:

A Personal Banker must be friendly, personable and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Duties will include opening all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts, etc.), resolving customer service issues and cross-selling bank products and services. Other duties include processing routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance). This position also works on the teller line as needed.

Primary Location/Schedule:

510 W Mt Vernon Blvd, Mt Vernon, MO 65712

Monday - Friday; 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, and rotating Saturdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Fulltime; 40 hours per week, average

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two years of retail banking (including new account and teller transactions) required
• Three to Five years personal banking experience preferred

• Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
