OMB Bank in Leawood, KS is seeking a Personal Banker to serve as a primary contact for customers. The role combines teller and banking duties, including opening deposit accounts, processing routine transactions, and addressing customer needs to build lasting relationships.

The person will work full-time, 40 hours per week, with a schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at the College Blvd location. Excellent customer service and cross-selling abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of retail banking experience, including new accounts and teller transactions, is required.
• Three to five years of personal banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and process routine transactions.
• Resolve customer service issues and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Develop relationships with customers and address their universal banking needs.

Personal Banker

Job Summary

At OMB, Personal Bankers are a key point of contact for customers, ensuring high-quality service and efficient banking operations. Duties will include opening all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts, etc.), resolving customer service issues and cross-selling bank products and services. Other duties include processing routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check issuance, and consumer loan applications). This role combines the responsibilities of both a Teller and a Personal Banker, offering an opportunity to develop relationships with customers while addressing their full range of universal banking needs.

Primary Location/Schedule

• 4701 College Blvd Ste 100, Leawood, Kansas 66211
• Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Fulltime; 40 hours per week, average

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two years of retail banking (including new account and teller transactions) required
• Three to Five years personal banking experience preferred
