Job summary

Dieterich Bank is seeking a Retail Banker to join our Columbia, IL branch. As a Personal Banker, you will be the face of the bank, helping customers achieve their financial goals while delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.

You will open and maintain customer accounts, process transactions, assist with online and mobile banking, and ensure compliance with bank policies. Join a team dedicated to integrity, service excellence, and community impact.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer-facing service experience, preferably in banking, retail, or financial services

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Personal Banker, you will:

Qualifications

Required:

• 1-3 years of customer-facing service experience, preferably in banking, retail, or financial services
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, online banking platforms, and mobile applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Dependable attendance and flexibility to work rotating Saturdays

Preferred:

• Associate degree in Business or a related field
• Previous banking, teller, or retail banking experience

Schedule

• Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
• Branch hours generally between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturday schedule (minimum two Saturdays per month) between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM
• When staffing permits, employees working a scheduled Saturday may receive a weekday off
