Job summary

Hickory Point Bank & Trust is seeking a Banker to serve as the primary financial contact for clients at our Champaign, IL location. You will conduct consultative conversations, understand client goals, and present deposit, credit, and investment solutions while ensuring compliance and accurate processing of transactions.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, community presence, and driving branch growth through proactive outreach and referrals to mortgage, wealth, and commercial partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience in banking, retail leadership, hospitality, financial services, or consultative sales.
• Comfort discussing financial products and solutions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated accountability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism.
• Banking experience is valued but not required for candidates with strong transferable experience.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
