Position Overview

As a Branch Personal Banker, you will strengthen customer relationships with a defined sales process. You will spend most of your time engaging customers in sales conversations to identify appropriate financial solutions. This position, within PNC's Retail Branch Banking Network, is based in Atlanta, Georgia at the 12th & Peachtree branch.

Job Description
  1. Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience to improve financial wellbeing, and collaborating with partners to grow share of wallet.
  2. Drive proactive sales conversations via internal and outbound interactions, including calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement, to elevate client loyalty and identify PNC solutions.
  3. Create customer loyalty and grow share through differentiated customer experiences, lobby activities, and educating customers on managing financial transactions with technology and resources.
  4. Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems effectively, fostering loyalty.
  5. Manage risk by adhering to policies, demonstrating sound judgment, and participating in branch operations efficiently and accurately.

  • Customer Focused - Prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction in business decisions to create tailored solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Effectively assessing and managing risks to support PNC's Risk Management Framework.

Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Requirements include:

  • Preferred skills: Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience, Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales.
  • Competencies: Banking Products, Digital Awareness, Effective Communication, Managing Multiple Priorities, Problem Solving, Retail Lending, Selling, Understanding Customer Needs.
  • Work Experience: Typically 3+ years, with an Associates degree or equivalent, or comparable experience including military service.
  • Education: No Degree required.
  • Certifications/Licenses: None required; background checks will be conducted.
