Job summary

ION Solar is seeking a dedicated Permit Team member to process permit applications, follow up on approvals, and keep customers informed throughout the queue. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth progression and maintain timely communications in a fast-paced office.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service excellence in a dynamic residential solar environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems.

Responsibilities

Submit permit applications within 24 hours of hitting the queue.
Follow up with accounts weekly to determine approval status.
Communicate with customers in the queue weekly to provide updates and answer questions.
Coordinate with other departments to determine what is needed to move the account forward.
Maintain personal and team email; respond to all communication within 48 hours.
