• Knowledge of office management, personnel and budget processes.
• Strong understanding of permitting, zoning, and subdivision ordinances.
• Ability to read deeds, maps and surveys and interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day operations of permits issuance, inspections scheduling and tracking.
• Oversees staff including supervisor, specialists and technicians.
• Handles hiring, performance appraisals and personnel administration.
• Prepares budgets and provides input for the Permits Section.
• Attends staff meetings and prepares monthly reports.
