Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Leisure Studies and Recreation, Horticulture or related field, and three years of supervisory experience, or seven years in parks with leadership duties.
• Experience coordinating facilities, programs, and staff in public parks and recreation.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures, and budgeting/grant research abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance of parks and assists in enforcing park ordinances.
• Manages outdoor Aquatic Center and oversees season openings/closings.
• Oversees contracted service vendors and ensures compliance with terms.
• Ensures safety, conducts inspections, and maintains records.
• Provides customer service and responds to inquiries.
• Assists in budgeting and pursues grants/alternative funding.
