Job summary

Cool Today - Sarasota is hiring a Permit Coordinator in Sarasota, Florida. The role acts as a liaison between the company, customers and municipalities to pull and expedite permits for home services installations and build outs.

We seek a highly organized professional with 2–3 years of administrative experience; permitting experience is a plus. You will coordinate permits, schedules, and inspections while maintaining documentation and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years administrative experience; Permitting experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull permits
• Coordinate with the company, customer, and municipalities to ensure work is completed timely and within code
• Schedule and verify inspections
• Process purchase orders
• Start to finish project admin including permitting, submittals, contracts, change orders, subcontracts, billing, inspections and final close out
• Responsible for company data management and record keeping
• Assist with service setup, dispatch and tracking
• Setup and maintain vendor/subcontract accounts and information spreadsheets
• Prepares reports and communications

What Will I Do?

Do I Have What It Takes?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 year's Administrative experience; Permitting experience a plus
• Highly organized and the ability to prioritize workload
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft office; Advance Excel skills a plus
