Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a detail‑oriented Permit Coordinator to keep window and door installation projects on track from initial permit research through approvals. The role involves preparing permit applications, coordinating with city and county departments, and maintaining accurate records to support project schedules.

You will work closely with Production, Installation Managers and other teams to ensure permitting requirements are met, stay current with codes, and help move multiple

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication with city/county representatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.
• Self-motivated, dependable and able to identify and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Review upcoming projects to identify permit requirements and submission priorities.
• Prepare permit applications and assemble documentation for approval.
• Communicate with city/county departments regarding requirements, fees, status and approvals.
• Track permit activity and maintain records in internal systems.
• Coordinate with Production and Installation Managers to support schedules and inspections.
• Stay informed about building codes and permitting requirements for windows and doors.
• Visit local building departments to pick up permits as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations and other teams to keep projects moving forward.
