Job summary

Renewal by Andersen in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a dedicated Permit Coordinator to manage building-permit requirements for window and door installations. You will prepare permit applications, coordinate with city and county departments, track approvals, and ensure compliance with regulations.

In this role, you will maintain accurate records, support project schedules with internal teams, and stay informed about relevant building codes.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills when interacting with city and county representatives.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated with initiative to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
• Office/clerical experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience as Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator, Permit Technician, Project Coordinator, or similar is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for occasional trips to local building departments.

Responsibilities

• Review upcoming projects to identify permit requirements and submission priorities.
• Prepare permit applications and assemble documentation for approval.
• Communicate with city and county departments regarding requirements, fees, and status.
• Track permit activity, maintain records, and update internal systems.
• Coordinate with Production and Installation Managers to support schedules and inspections.
• Stay informed about building codes and permitting requirements.
• Visit local building departments to pick up permits as needed.
• Partner with Operations and other teams to resolve permitting needs and keep projects moving forward.
