Job summary

St. Francis House in Boston seeks a Program Manager to lead a Permanent Supportive Housing program for individuals and families transitioning from homelessness.

You will supervise Awake Overnight Counselors and the Residence Life Coordinator, coordinating services and ensuring a safe, dignified living environment while promoting housing stability. The role requires a Bachelor's in human services, 5 years in non-profit settings, and 3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years’ experience in non-profit direct care setting serving vulnerable populations.
• 3 years' supervisory experience.
• Experience with homelessness and stabilization case management a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of program operations.
• Ensure compliance with billing requirements, funder expectations, and internal policies.
• Monitor program performance and reporting; support quality improvement.
• Promote Housing First, trauma-informed and harm reduction approaches.
• Oversee enrollment into services and liaise with property management and security.
• Develop and monitor budgets; track expenditures monthly.
• Prepare reports for funders and stakeholders.
