Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals
Assist patients with improving functional abilities and independence in activities of daily living
Provide therapeutic activities focused on strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional performance
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising OT and care team
Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and in a timely manner
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safety
Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful treatment environment
Provide coverage or float to neighboring sites when needed
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Previous OTA experience required; new graduates will not be considered
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
Willingness to participate in a weekend rotation
Flexibility to work across neighboring locations when needed
