Qualifications

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
• Willingness to participate in a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.
• Assist patients with improving functional abilities and independence in activities of daily living.
• Provide therapeutic activities focused on strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional performance.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising OT and care team.
• Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful treatment environment.
• Provide coverage or float to neighboring sites when needed.
