Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with perishable stock management and stock levels.
• Maintain strict cash accountability and adhere to cash control procedures.
• Train associates in proper stocking, freshness, and pricing standards for perishables.
• Record inventory levels and perform perishable markdown analyses.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and food handling regulations.
