Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with inventory management and merchandise presentation.
• Maintain correct perishable stock levels using planning tools and reports.
• Train associates in proper perishable handling, stocking, and pricing standards.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customer service excellence and a safe, compliant work environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures and support cash control practices.
