Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a team member to provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department and maintain standards to maximize sales through excellent service.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking meat, dairy, and other perishables, and adhering to safety guidelines. Training programs will be completed as part of onboarding, with opportunities to grow in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Use store tools such as ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and stock perishables.
• Ensure proper product levels in meat, dairy, and other perishables.
• Follow safety guidelines and Food Lion policies.
