Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with maintaining perishable stock levels across produce, meats, dairy, and bakery.
• train associates in proper merchandising, freshness, pricing standards, and safe food handling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and record perishable markdowns with corrective action.
• Provide quality customer service and respond to customer needs efficiently.
