Dollar General seeks a dedicated leader to manage the Perishable Departments including produce, meats, dairy, and bakery. You will assist in inventory control, merchandising, and safe store operations while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to train staff, and adherence to food handling rules and store policies. Previous retail leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math including percentages.
• Ability to learn cash register functions and generate reports.
• Knowledge of cash handling, deposit control, and store security practices.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

• Assist Store Manager with cash accountability and security practices.
• Follow SOPs, employee handbook, and company communications.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using provided planning tools.
• Train associates in proper perishables presentation, freshness, and pricing standards.
• Record inventory levels and assist with customer service requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and safety policies.
