Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Food handling certifications may be required by local regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with inventory management and merchandizing in the Perishable Departments.
• Maintain perishable stock levels based on store volume using provided tools.
• Ensure accurate cash accountability and adherence to security procedures.
• Train and supervise associates on freshness, pricing, and customer service.
• Record perishables markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
