Dollar General in Ohio is seeking a Store Lead for the Perishables Department. You will supervise perishables such as produce, dairy, meats, bakery and frozen items, ensuring stock levels, freshness, pricing and attractive displays.

You will assist in inventory control, staff training, safety compliance and high-quality customer service. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year retail experience, and 6 months supervisory exposure; food-handling certifications may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience leading associates in a perishables department is a plus.
• Ability to obtain required local/state food handling certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Store Manager in managing Perishable Departments including produce, dairy, meat, bakery and frozen foods.
• Maintain correct perishable stock levels and monitor signage, freshness and pricing.
• train associates on presentation, freshness and safety standards.
• record inventory levels and assist with customer requests promptly.
• ensure compliance with sanitation standards and company policies.
