Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with perishable inventory management and pricing.
• Maintain cash accountability and adhere to security practices.
• Train associates in proper presentation, freshness and pricing standards.
• Record inventory levels and monitor perishable markdowns and spoilage.
• Ensure customer needs are addressed and provide quality service.
• Support sanitation and safety compliance in all perishable areas.
