Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the team at St. Charles Hospital. You will support the operating room team by preparing sterile instruments and supplies and by maintaining aseptic technique throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology, BLS certification, and CST/NCCT/NBSTA/TS-C credentials. Prior perioperative experience is preferred, and the organization offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), NBSTA or TS-C/NCCT credentials required or NCCT mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instrument for the procedure.
• Assists with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
