This daytime role handles walk-in inventory, vendor relations, consignment levels, cycle counts, and cost-conscious distribution in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will be proficient in Excel and inventory systems, with a focus on minimizing waste and ensuring product availability for surgical cases.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital supply chain activities preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory software and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and controls walk-in inventory from vendor reps.
• Monitors consignment levels and ensures product availability for surgical cases.
• Develops and evaluates par levels to support service levels and reduce overstock.
• Identifies items to be ordered as warehouse stock or non-stock and assigns par locations.
• Performs cycle counts and analyzes discrepancies to drive improvements.
• Responds quickly to emergent physician and clinical requests and identifies cost-saving opportunities.
• Examines incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality against PO quantities.
