Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a PeriOp Inventory Receiver to help receive, inspect, and record all incoming and outgoing surgical supplies. You will work with the PeriOp Supply Chain team to ensure accurate counts and audit trails, and you will communicate with clinical staff and vendors to support smooth operations.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to procedures, and participation in regular inventory counts to support patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience.
• 1+ year experience in warehousing, shipping & receiving or supply chain.
• Ability to read, write, follow procedures and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Receive products into inventory and inspect for damage; verify receipt against PO.
• Communicate vital information to prevent delays in receiving shipments.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain workflow.
• Use Lawson to update inventory changes (incoming/outgoing).
• Transport items between locations; handle items up to 50+ pounds.
• Verify items against packing slips and POs before receipt.
