Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA seeks an executive to oversee all Perioperative Services Division activities on a 24/7 basis across Pre-Op, Main OR, Ambulatory and Minor Surgery, PACU, GI Lab, Sterile Processing and Central Service.

The role includes development of policies, quality improvement programs, and the capital/operating budgets, plus ensuring staffing, interviewing, promotions, evaluations and morale to maintain excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience including three years of progressive management/leadership required.
• RN license in Georgia or NLC/eNCL Multistate License required if a Registered Nurse; certification in area of clinical specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Perioperative Services Division areas on a 24/7 basis.
• Develop policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs.
• Develop capital and operating budgets for the division.
• Ensure staffing, including interviewing, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, and morale.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or another related field

Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
