Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an experienced administrator to oversee the Perioperative Services Division on a 24/7 basis, covering Pre-Procedure Testing, Pre-Op, Main OR, Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, and Central Service.

Responsibilities include policy development, quality improvement programs, and managing capital/operating budgets. Requires a Bachelor's in a related field and RN licensure in Georgia with at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management/leadership experience (3 years in a supervisory role)
• Current Georgia RN license or equivalent licensure if RN
• Certification in clinical specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for all Perioperative Services divisions on a 24/7 basis.
• Develops policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs for perioperative areas.
• Develops capital and operating budgets for the division.
• Ensures staffing is adequate by interviewing and selecting new employees, promoting staff, and conducting evaluations.
• Manages staff development, performance reviews, compensation actions, and employee relations.

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure If a Registered Nurse, must have current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License Required
• Certification in area of clinical specialty Preferred
