Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse Robotics Service Line Coordinator at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond to lead perioperative nursing activities, coordinate surgical services, and mentor staff.

The role emphasizes patient-focused care, cost-conscious budgeting, and collaboration with surgeons, vendors, and hospital leadership. The ideal candidate has an RN license in Virginia, BLS, and perioperative experience, with preferred ACLS/PALS/CNOR credentials.

Qualifications

• BLS required (American Heart Association)
• Current RN license in the practicing state
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred
• CNOR preferred
• SGNA preferred
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Two years perioperative nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-op care for surgical patients
• Assist scrub nurse and ensure instruments and supplies are ready
• Participate in budget planning and equipment budgeting for OR
• Support patient satisfaction and staff engagement initiatives
• Coordinate with physicians, vendors, and leadership for supplies and equipment
• Maintain physician preference lists and analyze performance data
• Plan and deliver unit/department education and staff development
• Advocate for patients and connect them with needed resources
• Manage daily surgery schedule and team assignments to optimize outcomes
