Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA.

The role supports patient care through the nursing process, assessment, planning and evaluation, with a focus on safe medication administration and care coordination across hospital departments. The position requires a valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS preferred, and a 40-hour workweek with evenings/nights.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse must possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• Must meet Bon Secours Mercy Health policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Administer medications safely and coordinate care across departments.
