Job summary

The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a surgical setting. Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BLS, and ACLS, with strong knowledge of patient rights and nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing standards and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Reports pertinent information to staff for continuity of care.
• Documents accurately in patient records with professional signature.
• Assesses patient and family understanding and plans care accordingly.
• Responds to emergencies and adheres to legal and ethical guidelines.
