Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse - OR at Baptist Surgery Center to deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care. You will guide patients through preoperative to postoperative phases, collaborate with the surgical team, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Document patient information legibly and with proper professional title.
• Assess patient and family understanding and establish mutually agreed goals.
• Provide nursing actions tailored to patient and family needs and respond to emergencies.
