Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners in Tucson, AZ is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and document patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards, delivering high‑quality care for patients across the perioperative continuum.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification within 90 days if ASC pediatrics is assigned.
• FT/PT: Minimum one-year RN PreOp/PACU experience; or enrolled in Perianesthesia training with defined milestones.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual and educational domains and plans care.
• Formulates and revises a care plan with realistic, measurable goals.
• Implements plan through direct care, coordination and supervision of the health team.
• Evaluates patient progress and teaching effectiveness with nursing leadership.
• Documents assessments, plans and outcomes timely and accurately.
• Contributes to quality improvement and professional development within the unit.
• Provides excellent service and supports continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
