Job summary

SCA Health in Colorado is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for PreOp PACU, Pain & GI to support perioperative patients across our facilities in Littleton. You will assess patient status before and after surgery, monitor vital signs, and participate in recovery planning.

The role requires clinical excellence, current RN licensure, and PACU or Preoperative experience. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year Pre Op or PACU experience required.
• Current state licensure to practice in good standing; BLS/BCLS within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days; PALS if pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status per policy.
• Interpret monitors and describe the physiology involved in anesthesia and recovery.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care and implement it.
• Provide hand-off reports and educate patients and families.
