Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Pre-Op and PACU to ensure patient safety throughout peri-anesthesia care. Responsibilities include educating patients, performing health assessments, and developing individualized care plans before and after surgery.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide pre-operative education and instructions.
• Conduct pre-procedure assessments and formulate a plan of care based on patient needs.
• Monitor post-anesthesia and sedated patients; manage post-operative pain and comfort.
• Document assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection prevention, risk management, and CMS/CDC standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
