Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Three years clinical experience in the peri-operative setting or procedure healthcare.
• Working knowledge of sterile technique and operating in surgical/procedural settings.
• RN license in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Current CPR certification, ACLS per center policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients: review history, obtain consents, monitor vitals, start IV, med administration, glucometer testing.
• Verify equipment functioning daily.
• Assess and monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Identify patient and intervention per policy and communicate to surgical team.
• Transport and position patients safely; document care records.
