Job summary

The-Urology-Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an ASC Pre-Admit Testing Specialist, RN for a part-time role (20-30 hours/week). You will oversee intake, perform an initial assessment, obtain medical history, and coordinate tests ordered by the surgeon and anesthesia team to ensure the patient is ready for surgery.

Requirements include RN license and state certification, BLS; ACLS preferred; CAPA preferred; BSN preferred; and about 2 years perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• RN license and state certification as required.
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
• Certified Nurse Post-Anesthesia (CAPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers pertinent patient information related to the scheduled case.
• Arranges collected data into the appropriate patient record.
• Utilizes critical thinking in the assessment of patients.
• Contacts patients scheduled for surgery to assess biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and educational status.
• Develops an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
