Job summary

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a RN Preadmission Testing Nurse in a part-time capacity. The role involves preadmission screening, patient education, and post-operative follow-up calls to ensure safe, efficient perioperative flow.

The RN will work under the Clinical Coordinator, coordinating care across disciplines and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Arizona licensed RNs with BLS/ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ recent hospital experience.
• Current Arizona Nursing License.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate and coordinate patient care.
• Conduct preadmission phone screening and provide arrival time and instructions.
• Organize activities in accordance with nursing standards, TJC, and guidelines.
• Perform post-operative calls 24–48 hours after procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing units and track issues with follow-up action plans.
