Job summary

Spokane Urology is seeking an ASC Pre-Admit Testing Specialist, RN in Spokane, WA. You will oversee intake, perform initial physical assessments, obtain medical histories, and administer tests ordered by surgeons, including EKG and phlebotomy, ensuring the patient is ready for surgery.

You will collaborate with surgeons and the anesthesia team, develop individualized perioperative plans, educate patients, and ensure HIPAA compliance, documentation and quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible to practice in state.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers pertinent patient information related to scheduled case.
• Arranges data into patient records and maintains documentation.
• Develops individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Acts as liaison between physician offices and surgical team.
• Administers medications safely and correctly.
• Educates patient and support person on perioperative care and expectations.
