Job summary

The-Urology-Group is seeking an ASC Pre-Admit Testing Specialist, RN, to oversee intake, perform an initial physical assessment, and interview patients to obtain medical history. You will perform tests ordered by the surgeon such as EKG and blood draws, coordinating with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure readiness for surgery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake and perform initial physical assessment.
• Interview patient to obtain medical history and schedule tests.
• Coordinate with surgeon and anesthesia team for readiness for surgery.
• Administer medications safely and correctly.
• Educate patient and designated support person on perioperative care and expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record and EMR.
