Jefferson Health’s Abington campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team part time (24 hours per week, day shift). Completion of Perioperative 101 preferred.

The RN will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, collaborate with the care team, and ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes. A PA RN license and BSN or progress toward it are preferred, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient-and family-centered practice and cultural awareness in care planning.
• Strong communication skills to partner with patients and families in care decisions.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and develop care plans.
• Experience with discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Familiarity with documenting health information accurately in EHR.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) per AHA standards.
