Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Anderson Hospital in the Cincinnati area. You will deliver high-quality surgical nursing care with strong organizational and leadership skills, supporting patient safety and outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree and active RN licensure; BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred. Mercy Health supports professional development and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to plan and deliver care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR setting.
• Observe the surgical team from a broad perspective and maintain a safe environment.
• Manage patient nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
