Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Fairfield Hospital team. You will deliver skilled nursing care across pre-op, intra-op and post-op phases, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requires RN licensure and OR readiness; BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. The role supports Mercy Health’s mission and offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS, ACLS or PALS certification (preferred at hire; obtain within 6 months as required).
• CNOR (preferred, not required) and SGNA (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgical team and maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care, including discharge instructions.
