Mercy is seeking a peri-operative RN to oversee patient care from assessment through evaluation in the operating room. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, manage supplies, and ensure documentation meets policy standards. The role emphasizes safe, compassionate care across diverse patient populations.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure, graduate nursing education, and CPR/ACLS certification, with 1 year of relevant OR/medical-surgical experience and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• CPR/ACLS certification required or scheduled.
• One year medical-surgical or OR experience preferred.
• Progressive leadership skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative patient care.
• Communicate findings to appropriate team members and document in the medical record.
• Manage/oversee care and services by ancillary and other personnel.
• Manage supplies and equipment within the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdepartmental staff to care for surgical patients.
