Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care across our network. You will promote the mission, assess patient status, and develop individualized perioperative plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
