Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. Join a patient-centered team and contribute to perioperative care across a network of ambulatory centers.

You will assess patient status, develop perioperative care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. State licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable, and a perioperative certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• PALS required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Perioperative Nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
