Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. You will support perioperative care within a multidisciplinary team and uphold the mission and values that guide our patient-centered culture.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active/state license, BLS/ACLS, and PALS where applicable, with OR experience preferred. Perioperative certification is a plus. Compensation is USD 45–48 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documented current BLS.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documented current ACLS.
• PALS is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope within 90 days or documentation of current PALS.
• Perioperative Nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
