SCA Health, part of Optum, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care across a network of ambulatory surgical centers. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Minimum qualifications include nursing licensure and OR experience; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable; perioperative certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if pediatric care is included in the facility scope within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
