Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care and patient management. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to promote our mission, assess patients, and develop individualized care plans within the perioperative process.

The role requires nursing licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable, and a preference for perioperative nursing certification. Salary is hourly with a range depending on experience and facility needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days or documentation.
• ACLS certification within 90 days or documentation.
• PALS certification within 90 days if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Education

RN nursing degree/licensure

BLS certification

ACLS certification

PALS certification (if pediatric care included)

Perioperative nursing certification (preferred)
