Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care across our facilities. You will assess patients, develop care plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• BLS within 90 days of employment; ACLS within 90 days; PALS if pediatric care is included in the facility scope.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative care.
