Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a part-time perioperative nurse to assess, plan, and evaluate care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. The circulating nurse will assist surgeons and coordinate an optimal interdisciplinary plan while ensuring patient privacy and high-quality communications.

The role requires California RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least two years of relevant experience. 24 weekly hours, 8-hour shifts, variable days, benefits available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN-Registered Nurse of California required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Two years of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, treat and evaluate nursing care across preop, intraop, and postop phases.
• Assist physician during surgery as circulating nurse; coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Maintain and communicate a collaborative care plan with patients, families, and providers.
• Adhere to policies and laws to promote quality, reliable patient experience.
